The conference fee should not exceed 410 euros -- the new limit. This is considerably higher than the limit that was expressed in US dollars. We have had to consider a case where the limit was exceeded. The organizer inherited a problem and we worked with him to reach what appeared to be a solution that met the spirit of the regulation, if not the letter.

However, we have been directed by the General Assembly to impose the limit. Ultimately this could mean that sponsorship would be withdrawn and the grant returned. I think that commissions should be careful that conferences sponsored through them do not violate this limit.
